I have been teaching in Catholic schools since 2020, and I started my teaching career in college as a student of Theology. I worked as a youth minister for three years and enjoyed helping children discover their faith and grow in their relationship with Our Lord. I interned at the White House part time as a Catholic Charities USA publication relations and government liaison as a college intern. I also worked on church and government relations. I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Communication in 2014 with a minor in Theology from Saint Vincent College, in Latrobe, Pennsylvania. I later worked for a public relations company writing for news stations in Tucson, Arizona. I later attended Santa Clara University in Santa Clara, California. I also attended the Excel program which stands for Excellence in Catholic Education and Leadership. I graduated summa cum laude and received my master's in education in 2023. I have taught in California and Arizona.
I love to run and go to the gym. I ran track and cross country in high school and in college. I miss being a collegiate athlete. Now as an adult I enjoy running park races and going surfing. I also enjoy traveling. I have been to four continents and hope to see all the world. I went to World Youth Day in 2013 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and I went to Rome and I met Pope Francis at his Wednesday Angels address. My favorite trip so far has been to Japan where I went on a Catholic pilgrimage.
I am joyful to be a part of the Saint Joseph School family.
