Jody Kienzler

Jody, hails from Springfield, Illinois, where she retired from Blessed Sacrament Church as the music director. The full-time job included directing 7 choirs, orchestra, over 25 cantors, liturgy classes at the school, a 50 voice children’s choir which sang throughout the diocese of Springfield. She took several from the choir on trips to sing in Europe. Prior to Blessed Sacrament, she finished a DMA, and from University of Illinois in voice performance and theater and taught at Illinois Wesleyan and Millikin Universities as an adjunct voice professor. Her undergrad degree is in Organ performance and Masters and DMA are in Voice. Jody has taught piano, voice and organ to every level of student for the past 40 years.

She has also been on several short-term mission trips to Mexico, the Philippines, and Israel and Egypt.
