Joanne Whitley

I have been teaching for 30 years, twenty-five years in Manatee County at Bayshore,
Manatee, and Palmetto High Schools as well as at Johnson Middle School. 

I retired a few years ago and missed it so much, that I decided to try and get back to my beloved profession. I began working again for Manatee County in Title One tutoring students in groups of 3 or 4 helping them with their math. Presently I am teaching Geometry Honors and Eighth Grade Math to St. Joseph’s students and will continue teaching Title One students.

I have 2 daughters and 4 grandchildren and love spending time with them. In addition, I love the
beach, reading, and walking.

I am looking forward to a wonderful year with our students.
