A Night on the Red Carpet Gala 

St. Joseph Catholic School hosted "A Night On The Red Carpet" Gala this past Saturday, April 1st, 2023 at the Robert Toale & Sons Celebration of Life Center at Lakewood Ranch. The event highlighted the school's Performing Arts Program and current fundraising for the North Campus Improvement Project, for additional classrooms.

We appreciate our Sponsors, Volunteers, and Supporters for making this event a success, it was truly a memorable evening!

Festivities for the evening included Live Music, Silent Auction, Photobooth, as well as an Awards Presentation.

Knights of Columbus, St. Joseph council #5604, Bradenton, Florida were presented with the Soaring Eagle Award; Al and Sue Connizzo were recognized as Honorary Chairs; and faculty members were presented with awards, including Mrs. Jody Kienzler for Outstanding Achievement in Music and Choir, Mr. Paul Mahoney for Outstanding Achievement in Drama and Thespians, and Ms. Susan Jarvis for Outstanding Achievement in Choreography.
 

We also had a SURPRISE portion of the "A Night On The Red Carpet" Gala that included a LIVE AUCTION MATCH of $25,000 thanks to a generous donation from The Ierulli Family.

Not only did we match with donations from Gala Attendees, but SJCS also received another $25,000 Donation from The Doss Family Foundation to put us over the top!
 

Plus, there was one more SURPRISE in store for the evening!!! The Ierulli Family gave a MYSTERY ENVELOPE only to be opened once we reached $25,000. Inside the envelope was a commitment for an additional $50,000! AMAZING! In less than 30 minutes, we were able to raise $117,500 for the North Campus Improvement Project.

Our Silent Auction featured Themed Baskets from each of our 14 Classrooms!
Highlights included PreK 4 Mrs. Miller's Spa Basket worth $900, Mrs. Owens Outdoor Entertainment Basket worth over $450, as well as Mrs. Ferguson's Doggie Dream Basket worth over $350 and Mrs. McGary's Date Night Gourmet Basket worth $300!

We are also featured a Laugh Pack with Dining from McCurdy's Comedy Club, Golf Foursomes to The Meadows with local dining, City of Bradenton Mayor for a Day, The Florida Nomad Conservation Pack with Big Cat Habitat and Myakka Elephant Ranch Inc Tickets, a Women' Boutique Shop Package, and Couples Dance Classes.

There were also Outdoor Adventures like TreeUmph!, Watersports, Horseback Riding, and Boat Tours, Vacation Rental as well as Spa Treatments, plus custom artwork and SO MUCH MORE!
